Why Hypnosis? Why is it so powerful when combined with breathwork?

Those who have done traditional talk therapy are probably familiar with going in loops and not getting to the root cause of issues or patterns. Don't get me wrong, I love therapy and still speak to a therapist.

I started my healing journey with my therapist and understood my patterns, actions and triggers, however, I couldn’t quite grasp them even though I am more aware of my feelings and thoughts. It was only when I started breathing when my work with her leaped forward by miles. Every big integration during a breath session was equivalent to a couple of years of therapy. I didn’t stop therapy because I brought the wisdom from my breath to my sessions, and consciously analysed them based on the behavioural patterns that we previously established. I absolutely loved the combination. It was incredible and complimentary.

So I thought: it would be wonderful if I could speak from my subconscious mind, consciously?

This was during the first lockdown in 2020 and I came across a free 1-hour Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®) talk by Marisa Peer on Mindvalley, a platform that hosts various programs by trainers, coaches and the like. There was a short 20-min hypnosis session at the end and I was blown away. I WAS actually speaking from my subconscious mind, consciously.

It's a misconception that you do not have control when you are hypnotised, you absolutely do and can get yourself out of it at any time. We are in a deep meditative state. You are not asleep, your nervous system is.

It's similar to breath sessions, where you are working on the subconscious level as well, without the talking. With the use of affirmations, many clients are brought back to memories from the past or even past lives. What comes up during a session is still arbitrary, even though often linked to the intention set in the beginning of the session.

Hypnosis brings you back to scenes specific to a presenting issue that the clients want to work on. What I love about RTT® is, it works on the root causes of the issues. It doesn't work on just the superficial elements. For example, someone who has an eating disorder, finding the root cause is important as rewiring the brain is only temporary. If you don't find the root cause, you will only work on the top layer and the eating disorder will always come back.

You want to find the root, the cause of the issue so the client is able to integrate with the past traumas.

Integration is something that breathwork brings too. Why integration versus not getting rid of it?

You can never get rid of something that has happened: it will always be there. But you want to integrate with it to disempower the power it has over you. People suppress emotions and issues by burying or pushing them aside and not integrating with pain when it happens, this is when it's stored in your body. Your body holds the score. Physical ailments are most often caused by emotional ailments.

The RTT® method uses various tools depending on the emotional and physical ailments, combined with what arises from the scenes in the hypnosis session. Regression is when clients are brought back to scenes from the past or even past lives. Every session is tailored and prepared thoroughly. The reframing of old beliefs happens via a bespoke transformational recording made for each client individually.

Making the unfamiliar familiar. By listening to the bespoke recording, you are rewiring your brain and thought patterns. Your mind cannot hold two conflicting thoughts at once. It cannot think that you are ugly and pretty at the same time, tell it a better lie and change your narrative. Change the vocabulary of your thoughts to positive words.

You make your beliefs, and your beliefs make you. Reframe your hardwired beliefs and negative behavioural patterns embedded/lodged in the subconscious using hypnosis. Transform your life. Your thoughts form a blueprint that your body and mind work to make your reality. Your mind responds to pictures and words you install. Your body is a copy of what your mind thinks. The body must act in a way that is consistent with your thoughts. CHANGE THEM TODAY.
